How about “Simple Lasagna Recipe”?

Easy lasagna? Does it sound like an oxymoron to you? It’s what I thought, but I finally figured it out when I saw how quickly my family ate lasagna following a late-night soccer practice. When my children have to eat late at night, I choose a meal that I know they will enjoy to get them to bed and showers on time. This easy lasagna works!

There are a few shortcuts that will make your lasagna easy. First of all, you don’t need to boil the lasagna noodles. Second, your favorite marinara sauce. Third, purchase the pre-grated Parmesan.

A lasagna pan that is deep enough for all layers will also be helpful. It used to be made in a 9×13 Pyrex, and it worked fine. However, the lasagna pan’s depth is important.

It is easy to make: brown the meat, add the garlic, add the sauce and simmer. Beat the eggs, then add the parsley, cheese, salt and pepper to the same bowl. Mix well. Layer: sauce, noodle, cheese mixture twice, then top layer noodles, sauce and remaining mozzarella. Covered, bake at 350 for 50 minutes. Then uncover and continue to bake for 15 more minutes. Allow it to sit for 15 minutes before you dig in.
