We are Disney princesses. We visited Disney World for Halloween last year to dance with Belle and visit the Bippity-Boppity Boutique. Ariel visited our house. We own a variety of dress-up dresses and have seen our favorite films more than once. When Kaitlyn reached the age of 6, we gave The Disney Princess Cookbook.
I knew that Kaitlyn was a princess fan, so I took a chance with the Disney Princess Cookbook. Over the past five months it has proven to be incredibly popular not only with Kaitlyn (six years old), but also Hailey (9 years old). I knew Kaitlyn loved princesses, so I bought the Disney Princess Cookbook. It has been a big hit with both Kaitlyn and Hailey, who are both six years old.
The Disney Princess Cookbook contains 50 recipes, themed around a specific Disney character. There are 50 recipes, including Tiana’s Hoppin’ John, Ariel’s Sea Turtle Cupcakes and other Disney favorites like Aladdin’s Magic Lamp Curry, and Gus’ Mac ‘n Cheese. There are categories for breakfast, lunch and dinner, as well as snacks, beverages, sweets, and drinks.
This is the cookbook that my girls use when I give them free reign in the kitchen. Here’s why:
- Recipes for children with pictures and illustrations. The pictures are colorful and fun!
- These recipes are simple enough for kids to prepare, but tasty enough that adults could enjoy them without raising an eyebrow. I don’t help my girls at all, except to supervise them on the stove.
- Simple ingredients and easy-to-follow instructions.
- They have gained a lot of confidence! They are thrilled to know that there are many recipes they can prepare on their own.
