It’s so nice to be on island-time. It’s not fun to deal with your toddler’s daylight savings adjustment. Now back to the topic ….
We spent the night at Bitter End Yacht Club. It’s really a nice place and I don’t know why I didn’t take more photos! We were probably too busy taking advantage of the showers provided for dock guests to take pictures! We were too busy playing darts, dancing and having fun to shower.
David and I rented a hobie-cat before we moved on to the second island. The following morning, it was cloudy, but there was a decent breeze.
David looked at me with worried eyes. “Don’t worry, I won’t allow us to flip”, he said. We flipped into the water after we accidentally gybed. I saw the mast fly towards us. I was laughing and bobbing around in the water as David went after our Hobie.
Our boat continued to Jost van Dyke after the rains had passed.
I decided I couldn’t drink any more alcohol after a quick visit to Soggy Dollar. I had to get moving! David and I walked over to an abandoned beach, where I performed a bodyweight-circuit.
