Eggs. You’ve probably read this blog for a while and know that I like eggs. Like Bubba Gump, I love them scrambled or poached. They’re also great boiled in butter. I am so lucky to have friends who have chickens, and they provide me with amazing eggs regularly. These eggs are from chickens that David refers to as ‘happy.’ They roam freely and live a happy life. Since we consume a lot of eggs, sometimes I run out of their generous donations.

I spent quite a bit of time looking at eggs in the cooler section, so I jumped at an opportunity to taste Pete & Gerry’s organic Eggs and learn more about the meaning of the labels.
After visiting their website, I had a good idea of this amazing company. When it comes to eggs, I can taste the difference between quality and conventional. When I buy eggs in the store, I don’t really care about the labels. I am more concerned with the taste. Pete and Gerry’s eggs are as good as the ones you would find at your local farmer’s market. To test these eggs, I cooked an egg in an avocado.
