It’s always difficult to think at this time of the year. It’s 90° outside, so ice cream has to be consumed quickly to prevent it from turning into soup. On the other hand, the girls can run in play fountains while wearing their clothes. It may or may have not happened yesterday afternoon.
On the other hand, however, the calendar still says September. Most kids are now back at school, and the college football season kicks off tonight. TONIGHT. So…. fall…right?
You’ve got me totally confused.
To me, football is synonymous with delicious and comforting food. To celebrate Georgia Tech (David’s alma-mater) playing their first season game against Alcorn State we will eat chili. Not just any chili but David’s famous chili.
We did not make this up. David has been cooking this chili for many years. Dare I say, even in the dark days of BB. (before Brittany).
